THE CONTRIBUTION MADE BY BEER TO THE EUROPEAN UNION ECONOMY - 2010
This study focuses on the economic impact of the brewing sector in the 27 European Union Member States in the year 2009. The report is the third edition after an edition in 2006 and 2009. To represent the economic impact of the brewing sector, we distinguished three different effects: (1) direct impact, (2) indirect impact, and (3) induced impact. The methodology used for estimating this economic impact on the European Union is developed by Regioplan. It is a model that can be used in other sectors also. The study is commissioned by The Brewers of Europe and conducted by Regioplan Policy Research and Ernst & Young Tax Advisors. Below you can find the complete report and a fact sheet.
