THE CONTRIBUTION MADE BY HEINEKEN TO THE EUROPEAN ECONOMY

Regioplan has conducted a study on the economic impact of the production and sale of Heineken beer in Europe. The job creation in the breweries, supplying sectors, hospitality and retail has been determined using a model, that Regioplan developed specifically for the brewing sector. The study also pays attention to the contribution to the GDP and government revenues in the 17 European countries where Heineken breweries are situated.
